I celebrate her life with you all!! She was such a faithful witness in her quiet ways and so loving. She only had to catch my gaze and I felt so embraced and loved. We will see her again, but will miss her peaceful presence.

Dear Neil & All Who knew & Loved Illa,
I was extremely saddened to learn of Illa’s passing from her loving companion Capt. Neil Murray.
Neil, my heart goes out to you in your sorrow as you mourn the loss of Illa. May God comfort you.
Though I was unable to reach Illa for several months now, we were long-time friends and I had the good pleasure of enjoying Illa’s warm and generous hospitality, her sense of humour and her heart of gold. When I moved away from the GTA, we kept in touch by phone or e-mail. Illa was always helping others and putting them before herself, even while she was struggling with her long battle of declining health.
I will always remember her infectious smile, her laughter and her positive outlook on life, no matter what cross she had to bear. God rest your dear soul Illa. You will always have a special place in my heart.
    With deepest sympathy,
    Sharleine Haycock
